Rock Busters Supports Employee’s Mission to Raise Funds for Kids Nationals

At Rock Busters, we don’t just break rocks—we break barriers for our team and our community.

When one of our own, Brian, came to us with a fundraising campaign close to his heart, we knew we had to step in. Brian is a proud member of Kizuna Judo, a local, family-oriented club dedicated to teaching the art of Judo to people of all ages. More than just a sport, Kizuna Judo is a place where kids build lifelong friendships, learn discipline, and grow in confidence—both on and off the mats.

Right now, Brian and his team are raising funds to support young athletes traveling to the Kids Nationals Judo Championships—a huge milestone for many of these dedicated kids. The goal? To help cover travel costs and tournament expenses, ensuring every child has the chance to compete and shine, regardless of financial circumstances.

Rock Busters owner Dennis and the entire team were proud to make a donation in support of this inspiring cause.

We believe in backing our people—on the job site and in their passions outside of work.

From the gofundme:

Hi my name is Brian and I am a member of Kizuna Judo. This is a great family orientated club teaching people of all ages the amazing art of Judo. Helping build strong bonds with friends and family as well as developing discipline to be carried with you through life. They have managed to build a strong team of kids who are looking to take their training farther at an Ontario training camp. This will be the practice they need to make it even farther in nationals next year. The trip is unfortunately more expensive than the average tournament they attend. I am trying everything I can to help support the families in sending there kids. Anything is appreciated and it couldn’t go to a better bunch of people.
