Another day another job complete! We’re excited to have been apart of a new project in Abbotsford, BC, Rock Busters collaborated with Tybo Contracting to tackle a challenging bedrock removal for a site development project. The objective was to safely and effectively break down solid bedrock without the need for explosives, ensuring minimal environmental impact and neighborhood disruption.

Using precise drilling techniques, our team created a series of strategically placed drill holes along the bedrock surface. We then applied specialized expanding grout, which, over a controlled time frame, exerted pressure to fracture the bedrock into manageable pieces. This method not only preserved the site’s structural integrity but also allowed us to work within the project’s tight timeline safely and efficiently.

Our expertise in non-explosive rock breaking proved invaluable for Tybo Contracting, providing a safe, eco-friendly, and cost-effective solution for bedrock removal in Abbotsford.
