The Challenge & Solution
Excavating dense Okanagan bedrock right next to an operating luxury resort requires low-noise, zero-vibration techniques. Heavy blasting was out of the question.
Our team deployed a silent, non-explosive rock demolition strategy:
- Precision Drilling: Using specialized hydraulic rock drills, our crew laid down a calculated hole pattern across the target bedrock.
- Mechanical Splitting & Grout: We utilized hydraulic splitters alongside engineered expansive grout to break down the granite-hard rock safely from the inside out—completely avoiding harmful seismic shockwaves.
- Clean Extraction: The fragmented rock was cleanly extracted and prepped for site grading, leaving zero structural impact on the surrounding resort grounds.
