Our team recently completed a challenging project at a high rise building site on Mary St. in Chilliwack. The job involved the demolition of concrete within a partial rebar support structure, with beams measuring 20 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 3 feet thick. Unfortunately, some rebar was missing during the initial pour at this new construction site, and the oversight wasn’t caught until after the concrete was poured. To correct this, this client hired our team to use our specialized techniques to jackhammer the concrete without damaging the existing rebar so they can add in the structures full needed rebar.
After careful drilling, we poured grout and meticulously chipped away at the structure to ensure precise removal while maintaining the integrity of the original beams so more rebar can be added and this high rise project can keep being built.
The project was completed in 10 days, demonstrating our expertise in detailed, high-stakes concrete work.
