The hydraulic splitter is a high performance rock and concrete breaking tool powered by high pressure oil from a hydraulic power pack. It works by driving a central wedge forward between two side wedges. As the central wedge advances, it pushes the side wedges outward, creating a strong splitting force.

When placed into a pre-drilled hole, the splitter can generate enough pressure to crack rock or concrete in just seconds. This allows for precise and controlled breaking along a set line with minimal vibration, low noise and no flying debris.

Hydraulic splitters are used in construction, demolition, excavation and quarrying, especially in locations where traditional breaking methods may cause structural damage or excessive noise.
