From April 24–26, Rock Busters had the privilege of attending the ISEE Western Canada Chapter 31st Conference & Annual General Meeting in beautiful Kamloops, BC. A huge ‘thank you!’ to the organizers, speakers, and attendees for hosting such a powerful event—we’re proud to have been a part of it!

This year’s conference truly lived up to its theme: “A Dynamite Experience.” From cutting-edge technical presentations to hands-on blaster training, it brought together industry professionals from across Western Canada to connect, learn, and celebrate the science and art of blasting.

What Went Down at ISEE West 2025:

  • Annual General Meeting: Industry updates, chapter initiatives, and meaningful discussions about the future of explosives and blasting practices.
  • Technical Presentations: Experts shared innovations, case studies, and best practices in the field of controlled blasting and explosive engineering.
  • Blaster Training: Attendees of the conference gained insights through ISEE Level 1 Blasting Fundamentals, a key stepping stone for professionals in the industry.
  • Clay Shoot & Golf Tournament: A fun and friendly way to network while enjoying the outdoors.
  • Live Entertainment: After a full day of learning and networking, attendees kicked back and had a blast (pun intended).

Why It Matters to Us:

At Rock Busters, we are thoroughly committed to staying at the forefront of industry standards, safety practices, and the best innovation. Attending events like the ISEE West helps us build stronger relationships with other professionals, stay informed, and continue to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

We’re already looking forward to what next year’s conference brings! Thank you!
